Lee Spencer.

Client Story & Mission

Our brief was to completely rethink and rebuild the Prison Radio website from the ground up, presenting their content in a more engaging and impactful way. Working closely with the PRA team, we set out not only to refresh their digital presence, but also to explore how the brand could better reflect the positive change they bring about.

Lee Spencer is the world’s only physically disabled person to hold a World Record in an endurance event. His story, achievements and expeditions are globally recognised – and so is his mission: to redefine perception, challenge stigma, drive change and ensure everyone has the opportunity to live a life with dignity.

High-Impact Digital Experience

We partnered with Lee and his team to design and develop a website that shines a spotlight on his story, his records and his speaking offer. With a profile and reputation that stretches across the globe, the bar for his online presence was set high – and we designed the site to match that status.

Our Approach

Lee’s team had an incredible archive of imagery from his expeditions. Rather than treating these as simple “supporting” visuals, we made them central to the experience. We designed an interface that allows these powerful, high-quality images to command attention and reinforce Lee’s core aim of changing perceptions around disability and resilience.

The navigation was carefully mapped out to ensure that visitors could quickly find what they need – whether that’s information about Lee’s records, his speaking offer, upcoming events or media coverage.

Responsive, Built for Every Platform

A key goal was to deliver a consistently strong experience on every device. Whether someone discovers Lee on a desktop at work or on a mobile while commuting, the site needed to feel fast, polished and easy to use.
