It Started with Two Friends and a Simple Idea.
The Happy2Host story didn’t start in a boardroom. It started in college, with two friends — Lawrence and Emmanuel — building websites with tools like FrontPage. We were driven by a shared passion: a belief that technology, when used correctly, could empower anyone to achieve their goals.
That bold idea grew. Our skills evolved and our small projects transformed into a professional creative agency. We built websites and provided digital solutions, always keeping that people-first approach at the heart of our work.
Finding Our Purpose in the Classroom.
A new chapter began when our founder, Lawrence, had to leave his 15-year teaching career after an epileptic attack. Determined to focus on his recovery but still passionate about education, he saw a new way to make an impact.
He founded Happy2Host Education to train people to use technology better. We honed our skills in the demanding world of schools, colleges and trusts, delivering practical training that genuinely empowered staff. We learned that success with technology isn’t about the tools – it’s about people. Listening, understanding and building confidence makes all the difference.
From the Classroom to the Boardroom.
In helping educators, we realised a simple truth: the challenges faced by schools – inefficient workflows, underused technology and the need for clear, practical training – were the exact same challenges being faced by businesses.
